Navigation: --> Account → Spaces → your Space
Setup the following option regarding your needs:
- Time zone
- Currency
- Email address
- Transaction Automatic Completion: void
Navigation: Space → Payment → Configuration → Processors → Configure processor
- Add Ratepay as processor here and define a name
- Choose your operation mode (Production oder Test)
- Choose Test Credential mode: check here Custom and enter your personal credential set which you receive from Ratepay (Profile ID, Security Code and Device Fingerprint Snippet)
- Go now back to the Processors overview and choose now the Ratepay processor you defined just before
- On the right side you will find the available Connectors, click here Manage
- Please activate here the contractually agreed payment methods (invoice or/and direct debit)
- Now the activated Ratepay payment methods needs to be configured
Navigation: Space → Payment → Configuration → Connectors
- Click here your Ratepay payment method and press than Edit
- Here you are able to set:
- a name for the payment method (only visible within wallee)
- the Payment Term,
- the Transaction Automatic Completion Timeout,
- the Default Completion Behavior and
- the Mail Handling
Default Completion Behavior: Deferred
Explanation: The transaction can either be immediately completed after the authorization or the transaction can be completed manually (deferred).
Payment Term: 14 (defined in your Ratepay contract)
Explanation: The payment term defines the number of days the customer is given to pay the invoice.
Transaction Automatic Completion Timeout: e.g. 29
Explanation: This timeout controls after how many days an authorized transaction will be automatically completed or voided.
Navigation: Space → Connect → Shopify → your Shopify integration
change the setting on the right site:
- from: "The payment form is embedded in the Shopify store."
- to: "The payment form appears in the default style."
If you need to customize your wallee invoice documents or the checkout extension, to meet the Ratepay requirements, you are able to do that within the customize area in wallee (Navigation: Space → Customize)
