# Update OXID 5

**Test each update in your Test environment!**

## Update the Ratepay Payment Plugin version 5 of your OXID5

To install a new version of the Ratepay Payment Plugin you first should deactivate and uninstall the current version.

1. Uncheck **Active** in **Shop Settings > Payment Methods** and
2. **Save** your settings


1. Delete the folder `oxid-shop-rootdirectory>/modules/pi/` and all it's subfolders
2. Install the new version of the Ratepay Payment Plugin
