# Pay by Link

## Setup

Before using the **Pay by Link** feature, ensure the following configurations in your Shopware settings are correctly set up:

- Mailer settings
- An email template for the *payment status: reminded*


Both must be configured to allow sending the payment reminder email containing the pay link.

## Create a Pay Link

You can start a **Pay by Link** order with Ratepay payment methods directly from the order overview.

Navigate to **Orders → Overview** and click **Add order** in the top-right corner.

A popup will appear where you need to specify:

- Sales channel
- Customer
- Products
- Predefined payment method


After saving the order, you will be prompted to send a reminder email to the buyer.
This email contains a link to a pre-filled cart, which the buyer can use to complete the payment.
