# Payment methods

###### Here you can set whether and how the payment methods are displayed in your shop.

**Before managing the Ratepay payment methods**, please ensure that you have [setup](/docs/developer/shop_modules/shopware/shopware_6/get_started/setup) the plugin before and that the credentials are being saved.

## Enable / Disable

Simply tick the **Active** checkbox to disable and enable the Ratepay payment methods **and** assign them to your sales channel.

## Countries

There is no need to assign countries. Ratepay's payment methods become automatically available if contractually agreed.

## Whitelabel

Per default the Ratepay payment methods are described as

1. Ratepay Rechnung
2. Ratepay Ratenzahlung
3. Ratepay Lastschrift
4. Ratepay 0% Finanzierung


We suggest to rename the payment methods and to delete the brand name **Ratepay** in each description. Ratepay is unknown to most consumers and often associated with instalments.

Feel free to call the payment methods slightly different.  ***This may boost your conversion rate as well.***
