###### Wording and placement guidelines for rejection texts in your checkout

If the risk check by Ratepay is negative, the use of the selected Ratepay payment method is not possible. The customer will be rejected and can try to complete the transaction using an alternative payment method. The customer must be informed of the rejection using the standardized rejection texts (reason codes) in the checkout. For more information about integration, see the following pages:
