If an order is delayed or if unforeseeable events occur in which the customer does not receive the goods on time or there is a dispute, you can set up a dunning block in ORCA.
  • A maximum of 2 dunning blocks can be set up in this way
  • If a further, third dunning block is required, you can create a request to Ratepay (Please note: This does not immediately set up a dunning block, it is only a request!).
  • If a dunning block already exists, it will be displayed in ORCA.
  • These are individual dunning blocks, each relating to one invoice
  • The duration of the dunning block is determined by the reason and cannot be changed. If the duration is not sufficient, you can extend the dunning block once. After the expiry of the dunning block duration, the dunning process is automatically resumed.

Procedure in ORCA

  1. Please open the order in ORCA.
  2. The button for setting up a dunning block is displayed on the right in the menu:
  1. After clicking on the button, a pop-up window should now appear where you can specify the reason for the dunning block

The duration of the dunning block is defined by the reason. Please refer to the list here.

  1. If applicable, please provide an email address where we should send a copy of the reminder block request. Please also ensure that "Log Dunning Block" is always activated:

If two dunning blocks have already been set up, you will be offered the option of manually requesting another dunning block. Please always state valid reasons for this.

The request will only be forwarded to Ratepay, but no dunning block has been set up yet!

  1. As soon as the dunning block has been transmitted, it is also directly visible in ORCA:
