The Gateway response for each Payment Request operation returns, with the response, an individual string in the XML field <descriptor>. The descriptor must be printed on several invoice documents and be saved by the shop. The descriptor (a.k.a. "narrative", "reason for payment") must be used by the shopper on bank transfers (German: “Verwendungszweck”).
