422 - Buyer Identity
Description
Ratepay may decline transactions because the buyer could not be identified (e.g. by credit agencies).
Error Handling
The sender can correct the buyer's data and submit a new request.
One or multiple buyer data fields may need to be corrected:
We recommend that you limit the number of transaction attempts per buyer when you receive this decline category to three attempts within 24 hours.
The buyer may contact the Ratepay customer service for more information.
Example
The buyer cannot be identified based on the combination of name, billing address and date of birth.
This behavior can be triggered on the integration environment by using the email address buyer_identity@ratepay.com.
