Setup

Before using the Pay by Link feature, ensure the following configurations in your Shopware settings are correctly set up:

  • Mailer settings
  • An email template for the payment status: reminded

Both must be configured to allow sending the payment reminder email containing the pay link.

You can start a Pay by Link order with Ratepay payment methods directly from the order overview.

Navigate to Orders → Overview and click Add order in the top-right corner.

A popup will appear where you need to specify:

  • Sales channel
  • Customer
  • Products
  • Predefined payment method

After saving the order, you will be prompted to send a reminder email to the buyer.
This email contains a link to a pre-filled cart, which the buyer can use to complete the payment.
